A total company transfer from three separate manufacturing units into a single-site modern facility has been completed during August October 2005. Product flow within the new unit has been set up in accordance with best Lean practice.
We have confidence in the growth forecast by many of our major customers, and in the mutual success achieved through Nicholson’s high standard of performance and close customer relationships. To underpin ongoing growth and success, obtaining premises which give us the best platform for continuing to improve in all respects has been a fundamental part of the company’s plans. The project management of the move to Greencroft has resulted in on-time completion and we are delighted that many of our customers have told us that they have been impressed by the control demonstrated.
It has been a pleasure to welcome many visitors to our new facility to see the change in Nicholsons for themselves. Our customers and suppliers are all encouraged to come and see how this major investment in Nicholsons can really help to reinforce out joint success.
